The AM House - Calgary

Our Atelier Munro House in Calgary combines the comforts of a home with an industrial edge.

The flagship store is our second to set down roots in Canada, sitting right on Calgary’s busy Beltline – one of the city’s most popular neighborhoods.

The Atelier Munro House Calgary is a carefully designed 2500 square ft space serving as an inspiring meeting place for the clients, style advisors, and collaborators of Atelier Munro. Like our other flagship stores – so far located in Toronto and Amsterdam – it effortlessly combines a store, showroom, coffee bar hangout, and hub for the ultimate tailoring service.

Built on our ethos

The concept for the store was developed by the brand, with every element integrating our philosophy of manifesting character – the pursuit of culture, quality, and authenticity. The result is an open space with a balance between polished cement floors and warm wood, filled with light. Both natural – thanks to the high windows – and artificial for the dark winters in Canada. Despite the contemporary, industrial feel and soaring ceilings, the store also has comforts that help make it feel like a home: a lounge, a library, real greenery, and, most importantly, a barista corner for a great coffee.

Our collaborators

Our love for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail can be seen in the many projects by artists, craftspeople, and entrepreneurs found around the store. These collaborations are both local, like limited-edition cowboy hats by Smithbilt Hats and hand-thrown ceramics by Becky Daisy McMaster Studio as well as with our permanent partners in Amsterdam, including feature lighting from Tim Hooijmans, and a special artwork adorning our curtain by Franziska Minnema.
