Read moreMore than a simple practicality, we’re big believers that your luggage is an extension of you and your style. Perhaps no one understands this better than Alstermo Bruk.
These Swedes have been creating beautiful suitcases for over two centuries. They seem to have put that 200 years of knowledge to good use, crafting artisanal cases that can last generations. With their signature fiberboard look and made-to-order approach, we knew exactly who to turn to when it came time to create our new travel-inspired collection. Together, we’ve created something to elevate what you’re packing in the luggage department: a limited-edition Atelier Munro suitcase.
The case combines our aesthetic with inspiration from the travel wear collection and the man behind it: Formula E racing champion, Nyck De Vries. The design hits our favorite trifecta of functionality, style, and sustainability. The outer is light and durable, made from vulcanized and 100% recycled fiberboard. The finishings feature fine and locally-sourced leather, pine wood, and textile making the case completely plastic free too. Certain not to compromise on looks, the case is designed in our signature navy blue with black accents with a frost gray and water repellent lining. It’s actually a fabric based on a car coat from Nyck’s curated collection, so if you feel like matching your suitcase, you can.
There will be a limited run available, all handmade-to-order in their factory in Sweden. Each one possible to personalize with your own name inside. You can read more about our collaboration with Alstermo Bruk here.
