Musings on Pitti Uomo with the Style Pastor: Arno Kantelberg

This June, Arno Kantelberg joined us for Pitti Uomo in Florence. For the uninitiated, the four-day event sees buyers, editors, and the aesthetic-obsessed come together to view upcoming collections from designers around the world. Each summer, people descend on the breathtaking Italian city to explore the latest in style. Founder and editor-in-chief of ModMod, Arno is no exception. For the first time, Atelier Munro had our own space there, giving us the opportunity to capture the Style Pastor and his thoughts.

The Dutchman was the embodiment of relaxed refinement at the event. Notably staying cool in the scorching temperatures with an unconstructed suit crafted by yours truly. The piece combined the best of both worlds with a blend of breezy linen and shiny, soft-to-the-touch silk.

Wide lapels on the jacket, relaxed fit trousers with an almost-bootcut feel – his khaki seventies-inspired look was one of our favorites from the whole event. Arno took the time to muse on the thinking behind this airy style and his whole event experience – the vibe, characters, and the effect the pandemic has had on the reigning trends. You can read the full recap here.
