Atelier Munro lands in Rotterdam

Atelier Munro lands in Rotterdam

This month we welcomed our newest Atelier Munro House to the city of Rotterdam. Our largest yet, it marks the second flagship store in the Netherlands and fourth flagship store worldwide. Despite being a vast space boasting two storeys, the space bears all the same warmth and homeliness of our other locations. A shop meets showroom meets café where you can be inspired, guided and, of course, experience the ultimate tailoring service. Style advisors on the floor have all the conceivable resources needed to assist you with unparalleled personal service and advice – whether that’s helping you select the most luxurious fabrics, co-create exceptional individual pieces, or curate a complete wardrobe.

The space

Situated on the Meent, one of Rotterdam’s liveliest and most iconic streets, The Atelier Munro House Rotterdam is a meticulously designed 320-square-meter store. The result is a spacious hub spread across two floors, where natural light pours in through skylights and industrial lamps offer warm illumination. The interior strikes a beautiful balance between sleek and polished elements such as cement floors, mirrored walls, and glass details, complemented by a warm touch of wooden elements and soft carpeting in the distinctive Atelier Munro blue. In addition to an extensive collection for you to explore, the store features its own lounge, mini-library, barista corner for the perfect coffee, and plant life giving the location our characteristic homely feel.

The event

To celebrate the new location, clients were invited to enjoy food from 1Nul8, a local restaurant also located on the Meent, and a live set from Rotterdam’s DJ Junior Paggio while exploring the store. As a special treat, we also had Dutch artist Joost Stokhof in illustrating some bespoke pocket squares live. Did you miss it? Check out some photos from the night.

“I’m glad to be back in Rotterdam creating made-to-measure clothing, which is a great passion of mine! We’re especially excited to start making the local residents happy with clothing made just for them and that will radiate who they are and what they stand for. I am so proud of the Atelier Munro House on the Meent. It’s such a beautiful spot on a bustling street. Every day, the team and myself will be there ready to ensure everyone feels welcome.”
