On Sunday, November 17 at 3:30 pm, the Amsterdam-based European football club AFC Ajax will kick off its 125th anniversary celebrations with a gala match at the Johan Cruijff ArenA – a once-in-a-lifetime showdown featuring legendary players from both Ajax and Real Madrid. All proceeds from the event will go to the Ajax Foundation, which works to reduce inequality and expand educational opportunities for Amsterdam youth.

To mark this historic moment, Ajax launched a special campaign showcasing some of the club’s most iconic former figures – including Danny and Daley Blind, Rafael van der Vaart, Siem de Jong, Frank and Ronald de Boer, and Sjaak Swart. And we’re thrilled to announce that Atelier Munro had the honor of dressing these legends for the occasion! Styled in elegant formal wear with a sophisticated, gentlemen’s club vibe, these timeless images celebrate both Ajax’s storied legacy and the significance of their 125-year milestone.
