With his recent F1 Grand Prix debut and championship win in Formula E, Nyck is one of the faces in racing well worth getting to know. We’ve been lucky enough to get acquainted with the Dutch driver while working on our recent collaboration – translating his on-the-road lifestyle into a collection perfected for traveling.

The reigning world champ has drive in every sense of the word – and it’s taken him from a little town in Friesland around the globe. Discovering his passion young, Nyck started karting when he was just five years old. It wasn’t long before he was traveling all over the world for karting competitions. By the time Nyck was a teen he had moved to Italy, begun racing internationally, and started racking up European and World Championships. The Dutchman went on to take out the 2019 Formula 2 championship before graduating to Formula E – Formula 1’s  more sustainable cousin fueled by electricity. Last year, he drove with Mercedes EQ and dominated the 2021-2022 season. Between his training, touring as a reserve for the Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 team, and another Formula E season underway, Nyck’s calendar leaves little to chance. We got a moment to chat to him about the importance of ambition, intuition, and self-confidence.

The collaboration was inspired by his dynamic lifestyle: flexible, layerable outfits perfect for a warmer climate and the constant movement that comes with being on the road. To give the collection a test drive, we met up in the south of France, not far from his adopted home of Monaco. Nyck ditched his usual high horsepower for the weekend to travel in his completely custom-renovated 1987 Mini Moke. We toured together along one of Europe’s most iconic routes, the Corniche Roads of the French Riviera. Nyck comfortably in the driver’s seat in a range of safari jackets, polos, and his hands-down-favorite: sneakers.
