If I look into my wardrobe, I realize my garments for spring/summer and fall/winter are becoming more akin to each other. Still I find there is still a big difference between the two. Not so much in the fabrics, weight, the quality, but in ways of wearing. During these last hot summer days, all I wanted was something breathable and airy (I love my cotton-cashmere polos, even when it’s above 25Cº). When days are getting colder, I still reach for those garments, but now my intention turns to layering. With a light cardigan, a lightweight jacket, a quilted vest, or both when temperatures drop even further… It feels more and more relevant not to separate the two collections but bring them closer, while making it easier to combine them. This is exactly what we’re doing with our 365 collection of fabrics available all year round. And with the release of our new seasonal collection, and the launch of a few new knitwear products, it feels more integrated than ever before – I hope you’ll find the same ease and enjoyment from them in these cooler coming months.

We are adding more layers to our brand as well. Officially opening our AM House Calgary, celebrating this with the community there through new collaborations and stories. A new made-to-measure collection with Mark Giordano and Andrew Mangiapane exploring their personal style, a limited-edition AM Pilsner created with locals Eighty Eight Brewery, and a series of artworks diving deep into the city’s cowboy culture with Dutch artist Mike Dings.

Closer to our homecity, we spent some time with art historian and curator of Paleis Het Loo, Paul Rem. He showed us around his favorite Dutch architectural highlights that can be found and enjoyed by the public. Beautiful buildings where every detail counts, where every part is meticulously crafted into something bigger, more impressive, inspiring. We played Padel on our own XNRGY x Atelier Munro court while coached by Diego Mieres.

We continue to ply you with knowledge and new levels of understanding too, with a new suite of city guides and coming full circle to where I started: layers. Ricardo offers up a guide to soft tailoring while Gaurav talks about putting together our new knitwear. Keep a special eye out for a new family member just released in the knitwear collection, specially made for the more relaxed moments: the leisure pants. Probably my new favorite when on the road, this luxury version of a simple track pant is really something. Combine it with the new cable knit or ribbed cardigan and you are ready for the cold. A treat for this fall…
