With the sun shining, we would be remiss not to highlight this beautiful seaside location, Oostende. This charming town on the coast of Belgium is home to some of the country’s best beaches, waterside dining, and one of our personal favorites: Icons Collections.

Just a few streets back from the beach, Icons Collections stocks a selection of the finest luxury womens and menswear (including us, of course). We asked Elsie and Guy from the store to share their top spots to explore next time you’re in town.

Eating

Marebello
A warm Italian restaurant and without a doubt the best pizza you’ll find in town. Right on the water, request a table on the terrace overlooking the sea to catch a sunset to remember.

Restaurant Venetiaanse Gaanderijen
Located in the pride of Oostende, the Venetian Galleries on the dyke. This spot is surrounded by beauty – the building itself and the views. Simple-yet-refined dining with a gentle sea breeze.

De Yachtclub

Not open just yet, but one to keep your eye on. This new seaside spot is the latest endeavor by world-famous Belgian chef, Willem Hiele, best known for his Michelin-starred restaurant, Koksijde.

Et Alors
Sitting right on the dyke and by the sand, this bar is tipped to have the best vibe in town. Featuring a modern aesthetic and trendy-yet-friendly garçons, with a delicious selection of drinks and tapas.
