Meet the suit made for summer commutes

With our homebase in Amsterdam, it should be no surprise one of our favorite things about the blue skies lately are the leisurely rides into the office. Whether you prefer to stroll or cycle into work, there’s a certain art to staying smart on the way. We turned to our always stylish Head of Digital, Len, for his answer to morning commutes: a stretchy water-repellent suit.

Len’s look was originally inspired by Benja Bruijning. The versatile dark blue suit has the same lightweight jacket with a relaxed cut that Len loves for its easy fit. It’s crafted from a contemporary technical fabric made by iconic Italian mill, Olmetex.

“I chose the fabric for its technical touch, it gives off a seersucker vibe that’s less tropical but still super breathable. The stretch makes it ideal for travel – I actually wear the trousers separately a lot too.”

Balancing beauty and practicality, the material features fine embroidery detailing that almost mimics the puckering of a seersucker for more air flow. A touch of stretch woven throughout also brings comfort and crease resistance that holds up even while you’re on the move.

Paired with a simple tee or knit, it’s a modern look that will keep you wrinkle free and in style from desk to dinner.

Len is riding on the Mokumono Delta C, an electric bike from our own hometown. Mokumono strives for a 100% European bicycle, radically different and sustainably manufactured. We are beyond excited to share that later this fall we will launch a special collaboration with them, available in a very limited run for our clients. Stay tuned!
